For this tutorial you will need:
PSP 6 or 7
EyeCandy4000
Bow tubes or any embellishments

Open a new image..
400X400 transparent background
We will resize it later

on the layer palette, RIGHT click and add new Raster layer
accept the default settings

Click on your settings tool set to
Circle
feather 0
antialias checked
and draw a small to medium circle
(shown on white background for easier viewing)

on your color palette..choose a color you would like as the foreground
color and the background color white

Click on your flood tool.. and choose these settings:
Flood style:Linear Gradient
Blend Mode:Normal
Paper texture:none
Match Mode:RGB Value
Tolerance 200 Opacity 100
Sample merged checked

2nd tab:
Gradient:Foreground-Background
Angle:111
Repeats:0
flood fill your circle

leaving the ants marching, up to Image..Deformations
and choose Twirl with these settings:

repeat the step for more twirl:

ants still marching..up to Image..Plugins..EyeCandy4 and choose
Glass

in the settings,choose Glass tubing and then take the bevel width
down to 3.00
I also changed the glass color to white
If you like the way the lollipop looks then click OK
Deselect by Right clicking on the graphic or up to Selections..
Select None

Now we are going to add the lollipop stick...
on the layer palette, RIGHT click and add new Raster layer
accept the default settings
Choose the preset shapes tool..
set to:

make a medium to thin stick allowing the top of the stick to
overlap a bit of our lollipop

Click on the magic wand with these settings:
Match Mode: RGB value
Tolerance:0
Feather:0
Sample Merged:Checked
click on the stick to activate it

back up to Image..Effects..Inner Bevel
I chose these settings:

Deselect by Right clicking on the graphic or up to Selections..
Select None

You should be on Layer 3 in your layer palette
Left click holding down the mouse button and drag layer 3
below layer 2
this puts the sticks behind our lollipop...:)

Hide layer 1 and merge visible:

click on layer 1 to hilight it..Right click and choose Delete
Click on your settings tool set to
Rectangle
feather 0
antialias checked
and draw a box around the lollipop..image..crop to selection
and that's it!
To save as a tube:
File..Export..Picture Tube

name it and click ok!
